Ambition & Illusion

History Repeating?

In 2025, SHOWING STYRIA will be completed by a total of three pavilions, which will bring together artistic positions under the title History Repeating? and enable a new reception of the past. The preview in March 2025 will show all three pavilions at Heldenplatz in Vienna before they are presented in the park of Schloss Eggenberg, in the Styrian regions, and beyond the country's borders.

The pavilions will showcase both Styrian and international artists, including works by Erwin Wurm, Hubert Schmalix, Milica Tomić, Herbert Brandl, Karoline Rudolf, Constantin Luser, Andreas Heller, Franz Kapfer, Michael Pöllinger, ‘Total Refusal’, Antonia JeitlerLena Violetta Leitner, Mito Gegic and Plateau Residue , with music by Klaus Lang.
