The state rooms and Planetary Room take on their original role for SHOWING STYRIA: they become platforms for the grand staging of a princely family
Pavilion

Pavilion

Music will play a major role in the pavilion positioned in front of the palace. The architecture of this pavilion echoes the Baroque theatricality and the element of the garden pavilion.
Archaeology Museum

Archaeology Museum

The Archaeology Museum displays more than 1,200 objects. Highlights of the permanent exhibition are world-class objects from the Hallstatt period, such as the “Cult Wagon of Strettweg” and the “Mask of Kleinklein”.
Coin Cabinet

Coin Cabinet

The Coin Cabinet tells memorable stories of coinage and coins in circulation in Styria from Antiquity to the Baroque period.
Alte Galerie

Alte Galerie

Experience 600 years of European history in the mirror of art and cultural history: outstanding examples of Austrian Gothic bear witness to the faith of the Middle Ages, masterpieces from the Renaissance and Baroque tell of the splendour and misery of the early modern period.
Park and gardens

Park and gardens

The Park of Schloss Eggenberg is one of the most precious garden monuments in the country. Please help us to protect it by observing the regulations set out below. They are designed to protect visitors, plants, animals and park features, while allowing you and other visitors to enjoy and experience the park.

Information on photography and filming

Drone flights and commercial photography of any kind are prohibited in the entire area!
For family photos for private use (wedding, christening, etc.) please fill in our form (available at the park cash desk) and pay a fee of 15 €.
