The granary

dates back to 1836 and features the classic, single-room, densely timbered log structure of a granary building. The steep, thatched gabled roof is in keeping with the landscape and provides additional storage space for grain boxes or baskets, barrels and vats for storing food. In the clay region, the interior walls were also clad with this raw material to create a more constant room temperature and humidity. This makes this box an interesting counterpart to the kitting.
