The fodder barn documents a form typical of the Tyrolean lowlands and parts of Salzburg. In these regions of intensive livestock farming, the hay harvested in the immediate vicinity was stored in the fodder barns. In winter, the young cattle remained in these stables until the feed supply was exhausted.
