Year of transmission: 1978

Image Credits

Fruit and cider barrels are stored on the quarrystone ground floor. A cider press is housed under the steep roof built over a timbered kneeling floor. The press is a screw press in which a pressing beam is lowered or raised with the help of a rotating spindle.
