The two-storey, spacious ‘box’ was used to store flour, meat and food. The granary, built in a galvanised block construction, has very carefully crafted carpentry with clinker woodwork and a small Gothic window at the back. On the outside wall is a ‘cabbage boiler’, which was used to fill a cabbage pit.
Note: This building is the oldest object in the Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing.
