Until the 1960s, the ‘Hausebner Lusthäusl’ at the Hausebner inn was used for the few entertaining hours of village life, as a resting place when driving up the mountain pastures or on a hike.

Dancing huts like this one in Nechnitz in the Almenland were widespread and well attended on special occasions. The umadum benches and the board for the musicians' drinks, which were also paid for by the audience for the music requests, are typical.
