The exhibition portrays the geological landscapes along the Alpine arc, thus tackling current questions of transformation and development in the volcano landscape of Southeast Styria.
Further information
Taking as its starting point the ‘Geological Pictorial Atlas of the Alps’ of the ideally matched duo Kurt Stüwe (geologist, Uni Graz) and Ruedi Homberger (photographer and pilot, Switzerland), the exhibition Shifting Landscape portrays the geological landscapes along the Alpine arc, thus tackling current questions of transformation and development in the volcano landscape of Southeast Styria.
Taking the volcano landscape as an example, this exhibition raises questions, offers possible answers and spurs our visitors on to take a look – and reflect upon this.
