We draw conclusions from past experiences about what lies ahead. Over the past 20 years, Kunsthaus Graz has been shaped not least by the artists who have helped to shape its programme. We asked 20 of them for their utopias for the future as the basis for a musical collage in five parts: Composed and conducted by Franz Jochum, choral conductor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, this collage ranges from pop songs to John Baldessari's vocal performance Baldessari sings LeWitt and from experimental layers of sound to revolutionary songs. The work will be presented by a choir made up of museum staff, singers from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and chorforum.gleisdorf - as well as visitors to the opening. Participation is not only allowed, but encouraged!
