Plamen Dejanoff's unique drawings from the series Specification Drawings refer to the exhibition Heritage Project at Kunsthaus Graz (8 June - 27 August 2023), which is the latest part of his long-term project exploring historical architectural and craft knowledge. Dejanoff's Heritage Project deals with issues of cultural heritage from a sculptural and conceptual perspective. His sculptural works, realised with the utmost precision craftsmanship, combine knowledge of craftsmanship with contemporary art and pose questions about the creation, exchange and linking of knowledge and its significance for cultural identity, cultural heritage and aesthetic practice.

The Specification Drawings - delicate drawings of constructive considerations on isometric paper - become "sculptural drawings" (© Dejanoff) themselves through handmade details. The depicted construction details visualise the handcrafted process that characterises Dejanoff's sculptural works.
