Tobias Rehberger developed an installation somewhere between sculpture, architecture and design especially for the border location on the Styrian Wine Route. This refers to the long-controversial demarcation that finally took place here in 1955 as a sign of political unification after the Second World War. Visible from afar, the 3.6-meter-high work carries a rotating cylinder with two arrowheads, on which ornaments in the Austrian and Slovenian national colors are applied. The words AUSTRIA and SLOVENIA are legible in a windless state. As soon as the wind moves the kinetic sculpture, it triggers dynamic processes that show the national borders as changeable.
