The Institute for Art in Public Space invited Tamara Grčić to develop an art project for the city of Graz and Styria Province. Her project consisted of three parts and had been on show in three different places: at the Natural History Museum (Joanneum District, Graz), on a tuff rock face of volcanic origin near Klöch in south-east Styria, and in urban space in Graz.
In southeastern Styria, on a tuff rock wall in the Zara Woods near Klöch, the German artist Tamara Grčić installed colored, hand-blown glass spheres that, depending on the sunlight, bathe the rock face in a fleeting play of colors. Not only are the sensory impressions decisive, but also the names of the colors (e.g. orange yellow, clove brown or lavender purple) and the concrete scientific classification according to A. G. Werner from the early 19th century. The names only have a historical meaning, but to illustrate their poetic dimension, a film was made together with schools in Graz in which the implementation of the terms in writing and language forms a link with the technical language of geology.
The project commenced with an intervention in the mineralogical collection of the Universalmuseum Joanneum, which features minerals in their splendid display cabinets in color order according to A. G. Werner.

Follow Landstraße L259, Klöchberg, as far as the junction Finsterl Weg. Car park at Buschenschank Palz. Follow the road on foot until you reach the junction Jodlschuster Weg. Follow this path into the forest until you reach a junction on the right, just before a small bridge. Follow the forest path uphill to the tuff rock wall.
