Everyday life, work and living no longer exist in the original. Smells, noises, heat, cold, vermin, dirt or damp cannot be demonstrated. The living situation was subject to changes and developments. The work and everyday life of the farmers was not the same day after day, but each day brought new tasks, some of which were dictated by the season, the weather and other circumstances.
The aim is to show images of everyday life in the past and to provide momentary insights into the rural world of yesteryear. Numerous everyday memories, taken from a wealth of oral history interviews, tell of the diversity of daily life in the countryside of yesteryear in small fragments of everyday life.
