The simple masonry wayside cross in the classic form of a stele dates from 1600 and is known as a plague cross.

Typical decorations include a cross, a picture of a saint, the "eternal light" of a candle and floral decorations. Stainzer tiles were used for the roof covering. The original is located just before entering Rassach on the main road.
