The house is a good example of the typical West Styrian building style, with a cross gable (Wiederkehr) in the living area and a log construction.

The year 1805 is carved on the tram tree of the chamber. The brick part of the house housed a historic "Greißlerei", a general store, which was still occasionally found in rural areas after the Second World War. Clothing, work and household utensils, food and much more were sold here.

Today you can find silk confectionery, old tin brand labels, cross-stitch patterns and an old wrought-iron cash register. In this historic atmosphere, visitors can also purchase products such as museum guides, Krachmanderl etc.
