A so-called "Venetian creel" is housed in the two-storey building, which is covered by a shingle-covered full-hipped roof. A 4-metre-high waterwheel with an overhead shaft moves the drive unit at ground level, which in turn moves the wooden carriage and the saw blade.

Construction timber was cut on this saw after the end of the 1960s. At the edge of the forest opposite is a sawhorse, which was necessary for cutting the wood by hand with the two-man saw.
