The workroom from 1703 houses a forge, anvil, tongs, hammers and other tools for the work of the rural blacksmith. Simple tools and fittings were made here. The elongated building, which is only brick-built in the area of the forge, also provided the blacksmith with cosy accommodation with a small "black kitchen" and a log-built living room, which served as a parlour and sleeping chamber. The steep scissor roof is covered with shingles.
