These farm mills were often found on larger farms with their own stream. The mill, which is built in a log construction, is covered by a steep, "hipped" shingle roof over the entrance. The mill is equipped with two parallel grinding gears, which are operated by two water wheels running in the brick-built wheelhouse. The horizontally rotating grindstones (wheel axles) move the millstones. A miller's parlour is built under the roof.
