The special feature of this two-storey box is the construction of the roof. Crooked birch trunks were used in the construction of the hipped roof, creating a visually appealing rounded shape. The functional intention, however, was not the visual appearance, but the creation of a large, gable-sided canopy, which served as a larger rain-free zone in front of the cellar entrance.
