The two-storey barn, which was built as a farm building for the ‘Laarer-Hof’, is a log construction and shows a remarkable old form of stable and barn that was once common in the western Enns Valley. The upper storey, which projects far beyond the stable at ground level on both sides of the eaves, served as a threshing floor and feeding barn and is accessible from the slope via a threshing bridge. The centre-pitched purlin roof is covered with shingles.
