After stations in Ghent, Stralsund, Göteborg, Kolding, Värnamo, Tampere, Hamburg, Zürich und Vigo, is the international travelling exhibition’s final destination the sea?
The Plastic Garbage Project from the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich will also be on show in Graz in 2015. The project and tour are financed courtesy of the Drosos Stiftung.
The station in Graz is made possible by sponsoring from the Holding Graz. The exhibition sheds a critical light on our consumerist, wasteful society. At the centre of the show are the large amounts of plastic trash landing daily in the sea, the consequences of this pollution for nature and for man, as well as various possible approaches to solving this global problem.
