‘The Artist Triptych and Transfiguration’ explores the transformation of both the artist and the mother. The first part, ‘The Artist Triptych’, brings together Schönberg's ‘Pierrot Lunaire’, Daniel Moreira's ‘Catalogue - Cinéma’ and Caseiro's ‘Tower of Clérigos’ to reflect a fragmented identity. The second part, ‘Transfiguration’, presents works by Bauckholt, Rihm and Eötvös as well as improvisations by Caseiro that address the challenges of motherhood and artistic reinvention.
Ana Caseiro, soprano; Maria Iaiza, piano; Szymon Kałużny, violin and viola; Dácil Guerra Guzmán, clarinet and bass clarinet; Jun Nakamura, flute; Mina Zakić, cello; Daniel Moreira, composer; Harald Hieronymus Hein, voice and movement
