In cooperation with CIS and Kunsthaus Graz, students from the Industrial Design degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences Graz invite you to INDUSTRIAL DESIGN SHOW 2015. For the first time, the University of Applied Sciences is organizing a design symposium in Kunsthaus Graz, which will take the form of a podium discussion – the Design Talk.

In addition, Space05 will be used to <link https: www.museum-joanneum.at kunsthaus-graz ausstellungen events event industrial-design-show-2015 external-link-new-window external link in new>exhibit final degree projects by bachelor and master degree students. A further part of the exhibition will be shown in designforum at the same time (opening 26th June, 6pm at the new location at Andreas-Hofer-Platz).

Design Talk Programme

Starting at 11am: Designers’ breakfast

11:30am – 12:15pm: Short public presentation of 2014/2015 master degree projects

12:15pm – 1pm: Match-making between graduates and representatives of the industry and design agencies with a tour through the exhibition.

1pm: Micheal Lanz (director of studies) opens the symposium

1:10pm – 2:10pm: Talks by Léonard Natterer (VW) and Elger Oberwelz (IDEO)

2:10pm – 2:30pm: Coffee break

2:30pm – 3:30pm: Talks by Philipp Refior (designaffairs) and Gerald Steiner (Danube University Krems, Harvard University)

3:30pm – 4:30pm: Podium discussion with the speakers, hosted by Michael Lanz
