About the
Event

What do we want from VR—Virtual Reality? What lies behind the technological development of VR? We will be looking for answers to these key questions on the podium from a range of perspectives—from a VR scientist, an artist, a curator and a game critic.

A cooperation between the association Game Development Graz, the TU Graz and the Kunsthaus Graz within the scope of the Game Dev Days from September 1-3, 2017.

Why are we doing this at the Kunsthaus?
An artificial neuronal network has been growing here since the beginning of the year—a machine intelligence called Ghost. On VR Playful Art day, Ghost provides insights into its artificial neuronal network and offers images from metaspace. Apart from the Ghost VR presentation, there will be other VR experiences and games to try out.

Participants: Robert Glashüttner, Reni Hofmüller, Alen Ladavac, Johanna Pirker, Elisabeth Schlögl, Tristan Schulze, Kris Staber

Concept: Johanna Pirker (Game Dev Graz, TU Graz), Tristan Schulze (artist) and Elisabeth Schlögl (Kunsthaus Graz)
