The BIX Media Facade and a monitor in the foyer show two works by Michelangelo Pistoletto. Titled “Third Paradise”, the works beckon toward a new age in the fusion of art and life.
The newly-created double-figure eight both creates and reflects an infinite connection between nature and culture, one that views an incorporation of the self as a central part of responsible society. Dancing and blinking on the facade, turning around and drawing its infinite lines, the sign is a call to viewers to join this movement toward the Third Paradise, and to strive for this responsible, peace-making time.

28.09.-22.12.2012: This age of the Third Paradise state (which sees the merging of nature and artifact) is to be manifested on December 21, 2012, the Rebirth-day, with as many like-minded people as possible throughout the world. On this day – the winter solstice – Kunsthaus plans to join in with the Cittadellarte project. Together with Leopold Calice, it invites visitors to a party of democratic sharing in the city of art.
