About the
Project

In the work Kassiber Renée Levi deals with the relationship between the human and the architectural body and creates an irritating self-portrait from the "localization" of her own head on the BIX Media Facade.

Further information

The project was created as part of "Switzerland in Sight" and was supported by the Swiss Embassy and Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council.

Renée Levi tries to locate her own head on the facade by means of a video transferred to the facade. The video shows her head covered with a stocking and stretched in space.

In her works, Swiss artist deals with the dimensions of space and time. In her painterly work, she interacts with colors and forms and allows the recipients to experience both spatiality and their own self.
