About the
Project

With Endloskonzept (Endless Concept) the Austrian media artist Crista Brandstaetter uses the unique medium of urban communication at Kunsthaus Graz.


Endloskonzept 2006, BIX Media Facade Kunsthaus Graz

Reflections about her own self, the fragile female body and its mirroring functions serve as the starting point for the new work on the BIX Media Facade. Crista Brandstaetter succeeds in releasing a dialogue dealing with the subjects of people and the media as well as body and space in the city while turning the façade into both the carrier and the antagonist of an idiosyncratically alienating self portrait.
