On the BIX we encounter a line of signs and symbols resembling a programming language, as an endlessly growing code. These beautiful signs move endlessly across the urban screen and into the urban space.
Who or what is being programmed?
In the context of the Architektursommer, TRANSCAPE is a commentary on questions of planning, plannability and the encoded language of power in public space.
Bernhard Wolf, who recently won the prize for the design of the main building of the Klagenfurt Hospital and will have a solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle Graz this summer, is always present with his works in the urban space. He is also represented with a permanent work in the courtyard between the Kunsthaus and HDA.
