Kneaded Knowledge. The Language of Ceramics

Ceramic objects are among the earliest archaeological artifacts and almost all cultures appreciated their practical value as well as their pleasing aesthetics. Ai Weiwei and Edmund de Waal both work extensively with clay, but use a very different creative approach. This catalogue mirrors each artist’s very personal view on what clay can represent.
