Friendly Honey The Edible Edition

Sarah Bildstein, who was responsible for the artistic design of the Bien, designed the labels of the Friendly Honey, which makes every single jar a unique item. She assigned each a colour from a colour process she created herself, and thus transferred the changing colour of the process found in the installation to the jars themselves: this symbolises the transformation of products that are extraneous to the body into those that are innate to it, thereby depicting the production of honey itself.
The Friendly Honey is the first and only honey yield of the Kunsthaus, an edible, artistic edition with a batch of 200 jars, thus corresponding to the uniqueness of each and every jar of honey, which in itself cannot be reproduced as a living organism.
A jar (140g) is available priced at € 9.50. (30% of the proceeds go to the initiative ‘Hunger auf Kunst & Kultur’.)
