For his artistic image montages Beni Bischof uses the full range of image optimisation tools, appropriating and shifting levels of meaning with enthusiasm and a wonderfully biting wit. Very much in the flow of our everyday media lifestyle and its sensory overload, where too much is not enough, but too much is real seems to hold true, his artist’s edition exaggerates the content warbling and fluttering in the wild and so also media processes and their visual-linguistic courting of our attention.
