Eastern route 2024: Distance Divided by Velocity

= TIME. Physics somewhat successfully approached the phenomenon of time. We know a simple, calculable formula from our school days: t = d/v. Einstein's theory of relativity, which revolutionized the understanding of time and space, defies vivid imagination. We’re still awaiting the Theory of Everything. Meanwhile, we embark on a “fantastic exploration of time and space” (Günther Pedrotti): We’re back in Fürstenfeld at the Water Biennale. Pedrotti probes the city’s valley floor 500 years ago and Joseph Fitzgerald translates it into drawings, which we can now examine in public spaces on 24 billboards.

Visited locations: Graz – Kulm – St. Johann bei Herberstein – Fürstenfeld
