In the final print edition of the world’s oldest journal on June 30, 2023, the article “Chronology of a Failed Rescue” appears. From then on, the Wiener Zeitung, calling itself a “digital compass medium,” can only be read online. Giving orientation is one of its most important goals. “Time reveals the truth” (Seneca) and the journal should do the same. Not a matter of course since we live in the “post-factual age” with “alternative truths.”
Our time travel begins at the Kunsthaus location of the wall journal Ausreißer, in public space “at eye level.”
