Time does not appear to us as a steady flow; sometimes it slows or accelerates; in our perceptive subjectivity, it takes on various aggregate states. Looking back on the Corona years, we have the impression of a frozen time. Time flows viscously on a Surrealist icon: The Persistence of Memory, aka The Elapsed Time or The Soft Clocks, is Salvador Dalí’s most famous painting.
This year’s final excursion starts in the seminary courtyard, where a special fountain sculpture awaits: a melancholic snowman observing himself in the reflection of a puddle, foreshadowing his own, slow disappearance at the same time.
