A multimedia performance in the L201 2023 art space, which took over the public road in front of the art space and interacted directly with drivers passing by.
Peter Piek is a painter, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, author and performance artist who was born in Chemnitz (then Karl-Marx-Stadt). Today he lives in Leipzig, while going on concert and exhibition tours on three continents. “There are people who don't seem to know what to do with all their talents. The versatile Leipzig artist Peter Piek undoubtedly belongs to this species. His songs are atmospheric soundscapes that tell stories.” Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Felix Helmut Wagner is a Vienna-based visual artist and civil engineer whose performances, performative installations and video works blend the principles of scientific modeling with the narrative methods of theater and the field of experimental music. Fact and invention usually overlap in an absurd way in his works. He explores the fundamental question of how people describe themselves and the world around them and how this description can be questioned and reinterpreted. The aim of his investigations is the greatest possible openness.
