IN SEARCH OF FULFILLMENT is a repair and transformation project dealing with the topics of online logistics, fast fashion, and the search for happiness created by Lisa D., a designer and fashion activist born in Austria and currently living in Berlin. It is led by her, Wilfried Prantner, Esther Kaya Stögerer, and Brigitte Bidovec. At the Mariahilferplatz Graz a lorry sculpture made of old clothes and shoes will be continued by the participating artists and passers-by, initiatives, schools, and associations.
Additionally, to this central participative sculpture project a series of workshops, lectures, and performances deal with the questions such as:
What does “fulfilment to do with online trade logistics, fast fashion, waste production, and happiness?
Is the concept of “fulfilment” the epitome of our wasteful lifestyle and can it actually “fulfil”?
IN SEARCH OF FULFILLMENT takes place in context of the international conference "future.repair.machine" hosted by the Dramatiker*innenfestival.
