Markus Wilfling sets up a monument to the citizens of Kaindorf an der Sulm with an oversized oval "hand mirror" made of highly polished stainless steel. The human figure, not the bust, is not the subject, because the focus is not on the one or the other idol, but on an enlightened community committed to human ideals and justice. The individual members of this community, at the moment they pause before the Ehrenspiegel (Mirror of Honour), are those to whom the memorial is dedicated.
Text on the Ehrenspiegel (Mirror of Honour) taken from: C. G. Jung, The Relationship between the Ego and the Unconscious, 1928
In cooperation with the market town of Kaindorf an der Sulm.
