40 Sentences / 40 Artists / 40 Locations / 40 Days

This publication documents the project TextBild MMIX, which was created by the Institute of Art in Public Space Styria in cooperation with the Literaturhaus Graz, and steirischer herbst. It was presented from September 26th to the 4th of November 2009, in a variety of locations throughout Styria.

The 40 sentences by 20 visual artists and 20 authors provide a wide variety of verbal messages. Provocative, slightly aggressive, neutral, as well as some who could be interpretated as showcasing a sense of artistic mission.
