Nowadays, it's hard to imagine life without electricity. Nevertheless, the situation could arise at any time that we are suddenly without electricity. The annual exhibition ‘With no electricity - life as it was then’ offers a glimpse into the past, when life without electricity was commonplace. The exhibition ranges from cooking over an open fire to the various types of lighting, ways of preserving and storing food, old craft techniques with hand-operated tools and the changes in agriculture.
