Our guest: Dance on Screen

The DANCE ON SCREEN Film Festival is the first and only dance film festival in Austria. It has been held once a year in Graz since 2016. 

The festival will enter its 9th edition on November 8, 9 and 10, 2024 and will extend over three full days with an afternoon and evening program, 47 international film contributions and audience discussions. The supporting program includes a screen dance workshop and come-togethers between Austrian and international dance filmmakers.

Since 2017, there has been an annual competition with an international jury and the Dance On Screen Awards ceremony. The awards are presented in the categories “Best Film”, “Best Choreography for Film” and “Best Student Film”, and the audience chooses the winner of the Audience Award.

The festival location is the Kunsthaus Graz, Space04.
