In Palais Herberstein, the contemporary exhibitions of the History Museum enter into an exciting dialogue with the baroque furnishings of the building. The entire area, which extends to the foot of the Schloßberg, today presents itself in late Baroque splendor. In addition to the magnificent staircase and the Hall of Mirrors, the so-called Prunkraum 207 is also a testimony to its period of origin. The Prunkraum is located on the 2nd floor, the former representation floor, and has uniform rococo furnishings on the walls and ceiling. This room is particularly suitable for receptions, readings, symposiums, concerts, video shoots or photo shoots.
