A series of photographs by the renowned Austrian photographer Elfie Semotan, together with audio recordings, give a strong voice to female victims of violence. What seems light has individual depth, provokes, and touches. ‘It is important that the women speak for themselves, appear for themselves and thus raise their own voices,’ say photographer Semotan and initiator Petra Werkovits about the work.
