Schloss Trautenfels

The natural and cultural history of Styria’s Enns Valley and Aussee regions form the core of the Schloss Trautenfels collection. Begun in the 1950s, it brings together zoological, geological and mineralogical items, folklore objects and archaeological finds from the region. Apart from its memorable exhibitions, the castle itself is fascinating for its high-quality Baroque interiors and unforgettable views of the surrounding mountains.
