Eating is much more than just swallowing nutrition. It is a cultural asset, sensory experience and leisure-time occupation. These days it is also an object of research and production factor, and “foody regions” are advertised as much as a “food landscapes”. This exhibition re-interprets the culture of eating amid processes of social change and challenges traditional and contemporary thinking – in the mirror of art as well.
